so...on 4/22/09...da ninja Wale' Folarin hits the Abbey Pub amongst a few other hometown artists and Colin Munroe for a small lil' concert jumpoff... Walking Canvas had official business & as far as i know it was like a wednsday & school was definately still in...

Im too much of nowhere from chicago when im @ school...so i come back to da crib as well as my mans P http://flightmanual.blogspot.com/ all da way from Carbondale. Da plan was to meet up wit da nigga BM and my sister b4 the show...get socibally sloshed...go to da concerto and take care of business da next day...

So...we meet up a lil tardily tho retrieve the befitting intoxicants...utilize dem jonts in the quaint little parking space we found up da street from the Pub...and then head to the venue...we kickin da Bobo's all da way to da door like it aint shit (cuz it wasnt) UNTIL....

We aint get in!..."We're @ compacity" is wat dey said..."damn...uh so...it aint no way we can get in?"..."well they might start letting people in again but right now, no"

So after some loitering & outside shmoozing niggas is bout to call it quits...we find a full unopened bottle of Bacardi, walk back to da car and drink then we get a text "Colin is playin Big Marcus' Piano Lessons Remix!"....we hit it to da door but the text was about 10 minutes old...& our night ends...

How My 08' Kicked off

On a rooftop across from da museum of science and industry adjacent to the lake...wit bottles of Rose', Chandon and blunts all around... played telephone tag wit 1 hoe and 1 heffer (got up wit the heffer) drove under influence, had some questionable brownies by FDA standards and watched da guys act asses pis in miscellaneous places, blow back & blow chunks. From the outside lookin' in, im in my prime nearin' top of my game wit lots of power players hopefully i'll end on the same (figured i'd post this to spite my shitty day)

About two weeks ago i hit the "Truck Stop" at about 2am wit my sister & the rest of the W.C./Culture Klub crew & proceeded to "dismantle" what you see to the left of you...39th and halsted...good food to exhaust kids
